1. Service provider and scope

This service is provided by the Mettae team. By registering for or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

2. Nature of the service (please read carefully)

Mettae provides visual calculations and AI-assisted interpretations based on traditional Chinese metaphysics (such as BaZi, Na Yin, name analysis and past-life stories), as well as emotional support conversations.

Readings are based on traditional methods whose sources are clearly labelled (some come from folk versions or works attributed to historical authors). Their conclusions are for cultural reflection and self-understanding, they have no scientific predictive power, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or practical effect of any result.

This service is not medical, psychological treatment, legal, financial or investment advice. The emotional support features cannot replace professional counselling or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or over, provide a real, working email address and keep your password safe. Each account is for one person's own use only.

If you breach these terms (for example, by misusing our interfaces, trying to break into our systems or posting unlawful content), we may suspend or close your account.

4. Payment

Paid features are charged at the price and in the currency shown on the page, and payments are processed by Stripe. We currently offer two one-time payment options, and neither renews automatically:

Single Pass: your account can generate one AI deep reading in each paid section of the site, with no time limit until used. If the AI fails to generate a reading, it is not counted.

30-Day Pass: unlimited AI deep readings in all paid sections for 30 days from the time of payment, for the birth details of up to 6 people per pass (repeat readings for the same person count only once). To count people, we store only an irreversible fingerprint of the birth details, not the original details.

AI deep readings are digital content and are available as soon as your payment succeeds. Refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy. Any change to prices does not affect what you have already paid for.

5. Content and intellectual property

The site's design, code, charts and original interpretation text belong to the operator.

Personal reports you generate are for your personal use. You are free to save them and share them with family and friends.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on readings or interpretations.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that consumer law where you live gives you and that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is registered. When we update the terms, we will publish them on the site with a new date, and we will notify you of significant changes by email.
